On Sunday during our small group devotional time we read "The Goose Story". As we considered how geese flying in V formation have 71% greater flying range than a bird flying on its own, we realized many lessons to be learned. The kids reflected on how things like a Zeba ministry where we teach VBC for 40 kids is only possible if we work together.
On Monday, after the tour of the Adventure Mine in Greenland, MI (near Ontonagon) we went to Ontonagon County Park for a pizza picnic/supper. The weather was gorgeous so the group spent a good deal of time on the beach (many even in the chilly Lake Superior water!). Our amazing "God moment": a flock of geese flying in perfect V formation above our kids. When we pointed it out, some of them spontaneously acted out our suggestion that they are being "geese" for each other.
