We are here at the Ford Forestry Center, also known as Alberta Michigan.  The drive was long, but uneventful (the best kind).

We stopped for lunch in Mackinaw City, where the bridge was shrouded in fog and the weather stayed misty all the way to camp.  Dinner was at the Villa Capri restaurant - our traditional stop.  When we arrived, we unloaded the vans and had some fun playing name games in the conference room.  The "queen" of the tiny village of Alberta (population 13) welcomed us to camp and shared some history with us.  Very interesting.

Today, we are going to attend worship with the L'Anse congregation and prepare for our week of Vacation Bible School.
