On Sunday, we went to Church with the L'Anse congregation. While we were there, we challenged the kids to meet at least one new person, get their name and something interesting about them. The kids took us up on the challenge with gusto. A couple of them reported later that they had met 17 new friends. Wow!
We had lunch at the park by Lake Superior where the kids had a great time playing "grounder tag" on the play structures there. That afternoon, we prepared for Vacation Bible School by practicing games, skits, and music. We also had fun putting together samples of the craft activities.
Sunday evening, Wendy delivered the prayer letters from home. They were wonderful! Thank you to everyone who is praying for us.
